CSE 2-criminal sure escape

This post is a continuation of the story in Johannan's blog.

It has been a long time since the CLAY CSI heard about Pablo Tan. No one knew how he looked like. Not even the fearless boss of the team, David, who was in the same room with that criminal. He had nearly caught him but failed for Pablo escaped through the back door in a flash.

All has been forgotten by the CLAY CSI. The country was at peace and Pablo Tan didn't attacked for a year. David decided to take a holiday, having the confidence that the country will still remain at its peaceful state with his team on the look out.

However, realizing this opportunity, the team celebrated their freedom of not being under their boss' watchful eye. They had poppy seed cake. (a drug to make them high)They jumped on the bed. and....

They were having a really great time eating and playing all day and all night till Prof Daniel's cell rang. It was boss! He signaled to the rest to be quiet while his trembling thumb tried to press the answer button. "Hello?"
"Pablo Tan has attacked! Quick team! We gotta stop him. I'm coming back in 5 minutes."
*click*

Exactly 5 min later, David reached. There was a loud hissing sound from the sky. They looked up. The flying object was black and white, and it had sharp pointers at the bottom of its legs. The CLAY CSI men were unable to speak or move as they looked.
So leaving the girls to do the job, Inspector Eunice went to the scene. She found 2 long white strands of hair and passed it to Dr. Cathy. Dr. Cathy concluded at an instant that they were cat's whiskers for Dr. Jien was not there to argue with her. With that, Prof Rachel sprank to her feet and started trying out mathematical equations again to reveal to whom the whiskers belong to while Dr. Cathy baked a poppy seed cake for the men in hope that they will return to normal soon. The drug-cake worked!

When all of them were gathered in the meeting room, Prof Rachel did a presentation on what she'd found.
"Pablo Tan is actually a cat! And a female," she told the rest without doubt.
"And it's no wonder why boss couldn't see her the last time as he thought Pablo Tan is a man," she continued. "My rusty old keris no longer serve me well. I've found just the right weapon to take down that Pablo," said David.
With a look so serious, he took out the most dangerous weapon of all.........a GUITAR!
"We don't know where Pablo is now. So I suggest we teach everyone how to use this weapon. Everyone, young and old. This weapon works on her for it is made for that purpose only. The music will bring her here, to us. We will capture her then," he said.
Meanwhile, Pablo invented a drink called BEER. It is highly addictive and can bring one's death if it's taken for a period of time. The citizens were unaware of the risk and bought huge bottles of BEER and drank until they fell dead.
Prof Johannan could not take any longer the sight of people dying one after another. So he decided to take his own life.
Stephen, upon seeing Johannan intentions, ran in between the knife and his dear friend. Stephen died on the spot with Jo crying out for him. As soon as Stephen was buried, Johannan was determined to put Pablo Tan behind bars.
After much chasing by the dogs and playing the guitar, CLAY CSI managed to capture her.
Pablo Tan spent only a month in jail. Why? It is because she's a cat. And cats are good climbers.She...escaped!!

Until the next time on CLAY CSI...if anybody feels like there's nothing else to blog about. =D

Annually The Kids Will Slumber

It has been a long time since I joined any Royal Rangers activity. Relieving childhood moments? This time, I went for the RK slumber night. It was fun, with all noisy, innocent-funny 12 kids, hilarious, joke-cracking commanders and also helpful adults and helpers.

I did activities I never did for a loooong time. Like kite flying! Imagine yourself teaching the kids how to fly a kite without knowing how... :/

The kids and us were barbecued under the super panas sun because it was 11+ in the morning. The wind didn't wanna play with us much. So it's more of a running activity than a kite flying one. Haha. We went back to the apartment, the kids played some games and soon the time came when the kids smiled, shouted, screamed and talked excitedly for they were getting ready for a SWIM!

Instead, we went to the beach first to play hantu galah, pass the water balloon and uh... hittheblindfoldedpersonandtrynottogetcaught game. Boy, they had fun hitting their commanders! I went swimming with them too. With long pants... The last time I went swimming was 3 years ago. Why? Because I didn't wanna wear shorts. My eczema scars can be seen so clearly on my skin. It was a hard time moving in that attire-couldn't move fast enough when we played monkey ball. But I enjoyedlah. Thank God nobody asked me to get out.

I even learnt how to bake chocolate muffins! Ivy taught the kids how. They were VERY sweet!
And there was good food too! We ate spaghetti for lunch, steamboat for dinner, Big Apple donuts for supper and nasi lemak for breakfast.

After dinner, Joa Wee lead them in praise and worship with me doing the actions I still remember from my kiddy days. Com Steven shared in his "service"(he calls it) of 15 kids. Man...every sentence he said, made the whole room filled with laughter. Love hearing during their sharing and devotion time. Makes me feel like a kid again.

RR is in support of Earth hour too. Stefanie the smarty played the electric game with them during the 1 hour darkness. The objective is to use other senses to win the game.
And finally we managed to put them to sleep after they've consumed so much sugar. We oldies slept early too around 1 or 2 am.
I can tell that the kids enjoyed themselves by the way some of the girls came telling me about the fun times they had throughout the event with sparkling eyes and excited tones in their voices. They asked me whether will I be coming again to join them next year. Definitely, if I'm invited of course. It was such a blessing to be able to join Rangers again!

Don't know

Why does it seem like there is no future for me? I don't know what else to do. Want to do ECE in Methodist College, but the place is not safe and there's no affordable place to stay.

Went to check out Institute CECE 3 days later. Found a room for rent and had paid deposit to the landlady, bought a bed, and Charlene had agreed to do this course together. But in the end, Charlene back out and went to KL with her brother, finding other courses without telling me. Found out later that the area has lots of snatch thieves too.

Yesterday checked out SEGI college for that course but argh! Fee is expensive and to continue degree, it has to be in Australia.

Applied for teacher's training last saturday. Heard the interview is hard since teacher's pay is now high.

What can I do now? I don't know what else to do...

KL in 2 weeks!

Sorry for the past scary blog posts. =)

Today I went up KL with my family and Charlene to check out Methodist College. Both Charlene and I are going to do the same course! That'll be fun-la haha. It's Early Childhood Education. 2 1/2 years only.
And guess what? We're going on the 30th. So fast! But we have problems on lodging. Haih...

I guess I'll be coming back every week for Easter dance practices. Plegh...don't like traveling.

The Reason

Why I don't want to tell anyone my results until after a month or two? Cause most people will ask each other what that person got without asking that person face-to-face himself! Especially just after results are out.

So... don't ask bout it now alright? Don't ask my family members. Whoever wants to know, ask me face-to-face. Then I will know who knows and who doesn't. It's like a mental record. I DON"T WANT ANYONE to tell others without my permission. And you who already know without me telling.... you don't have my permission to tell others!

Escaped

Yay I tak layak go NS!!! Hahaha. Went for check-up this morning. Pricked my finger for the first time for blood test. Hye... goodbye resort-looking NS kem... Goodbye fun activities...
Now, I can go for RR slumber night and continue working on the easter drama/dance. Yeah!

An hour before I go

Yesterday night, I went out for dinner with Esper, Kenneth and Job at Asian Havana. Came back at 10 and went to sleep at 11.30.(kinda earlier than other nights)

I was about to sleep when an sms came in. *Groans* It was 11:52. Replied, and went back to sleep. Another message came in at 12:31am. And followed by 3 other messages. 12:36, 12:38 and 12:46. Ahh!!! So I couldn't sleep till 1.20 in the morning. All of those messages were asking how am I? Whether I could sleep or not? Am I worried? Or giving me encouragements.

Well, I'm not at all worried, stress, anxious or anything to do with negative feelings. The more sooner the results are coming out, the more relaxed I get. It's all God's grace. Thanks you all for praying and encouraging me. I trust God to be my joy, my strength, and my comforter.

And my friends and I are going out lepak in the afternoon!!! But still, don't ask for my results. :)
I'm going to school soon...with Jesus....to meet all my friends, laugh, be happy for them or comfort them.

14th Feb-Just another day

I now realize my grandpa's death anniversary is on the 14th of February. Grandma was buried on this day too beside him. I visited my dear brother, John's grave as well after such a long time.

After lunch with relatives and others at a restaurant, I went straight to church for youth Valentine's Day.... and bathed. Oh the cool refreshing shower after such a super panas day.
Next, have a last dance practice before the event starts.

About the dance: We had 28 days to prepare and only had 6-7 practices!! Gosh. I'm proud of my dancers who dance well despite the lack of time we had and who were willing to sacrifice their time and effort to come for practices.

The Dance Team

When I got home, Anna the big sis told me the news concerning Tabitha.
Anna: You know about Tabitha?
Me: Yes. How you know?
Anna: Mummy told me. How you know?
Me: Mummy told me she got attacked by a virus and is in coma now..
Anna: Huh? She passed away ady.
Me: HAARRR???!!

You know, Anna likes to ask the "You know about..." question. Anna woke me up with a call at 9:12am (the morning my grandma passed away) and asked the same thing! And of course, I thought she was talking about popo having a heart attack and was hospitalized as that was the latest news I got. Yiissh..

Grandma:
I lived with her for 17 years+. When I was young, she's the one who looked after me and cook good food. Her bihun is the best! She loves feeding cats, dogs, and birds with the rice she cooks. She'll get up at 5am just to cook for them! She's the only family member I spoke mandarin to but since her hearing became poor as she got older and didn't want to use her hearing aid at home, I used sign language instead. Her voice is the loudest at home. Everyday she'll say "Ah-liuli, lou sang de for sit tiaoooo!!" which means "Ah-euni off the upstairs lights!!" to save electricity even though someone is using the room. Oh popo now you do not need to worry anything as you are now dancing joyfully in heaven. How odd, I miss your constant reminders.

Tabitha:
I remember her as the cute, chubby short girl. We had milk bottle races together with a few others when we were young. She was my partner at the front row, both of us wearing an embarassing sheep costume for a Christmas Joy parade when we were 6. She's one joyful friend but we parted when we were about 10.

Valentine's Day is just another day....

I Carry Your Heart With Me

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear no fate
(for you are my fate,my sweet)
I want no world
(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart
(i carry it in my heart)

Exams and the future.

MUAHAHAHA. MUAHAHAHAHA!!! Now my church buddies are in form 5 and are already flargh-ing and SPM!!-ing though they have about 11 months more to study. I will pray for all of you like you had prayed for me. :)

Please don't ask me what are my plans after form 5. Many kept bombarding me with the same question. Do they really want to know or are just finding some topic to talk about? Some asked me "How many A's you think you can get?" Well, I don't want to think about my results for now. To me, asking someone about his/her exam results and the plans for the future is not a good way to start a conversation. Do you agree or is it just me?
I'm going to do Form 6 if you are really curious and I'm thinking of being a teacher but am still not sure about it.

Congratulations to Joellene Sim who scored straight A's for her PMR!

SPM aftermath part 1

SPM has ended wohoo!! Yeah well, it's only now that I have the time to blog about EVERYTHING. I didn't scream my lungs out or jump like crazy like I'd expected 2 weeks before the exam starts.

Thank you dear friends, mom, dad and sis for your support and prayers during the stressful SPM period. At that night, some of us had an ikan bakar party at our class monitor, Rachel's place. Yess she belanja-ed us some of the food! How nice of her.
____________________________________________________________________
I had a sleepover at Daniel's place with 4 of my other close church buddies after Cafe Night.

Oh bout Cafe Night, it was awesome! There were even waiters and waitresses, jazz music, nice table cloths with candles on each table to put us into the mood. The creatively-named food and drinks was super delicious too! Thanks to all the hard work the committee and helpers have put in. God bless each of you!

Back to the sleepover-I didn't expect them to celebrate my birthday because Sir Daniel Chia had pretended he had forgotten my birthday. I didn't fall for it at first but at last he got me into his trap. And I said "Sepak kang!" --to just give him a hint. Sorry Dan!

Ashley(Daniel's younger sister) is a very smart girl-la. She's able to get me distracted by getting me to write on her wall(part of her wall is for writing) while the others work on their genius surprise plan to surprise me downstairs. On the way down the stairs, I was monologue-ing "Wah they off the light so can watch movie like in the cinemas." Then I heard the very common song sang in birthdays! My mouth opened, my hands came over my mouth unnoticingly and my legs couldn't walk down the stairs anymore and so, I sat down. Only Cathy saw my shocked expression and laughed because she was at the stairs.

The yummy poppy seed cake Cathy baked. The drugs! The drugs!! Look at Cathy's evil smile and her hand on me saying "Eat...eat..."

Me, praying /wishing. I was going to say it out loud but they stopped me. Why can't I say it out loud? What harm will it bring??

Doing the ceremonial birthday cake cutting.

Left it to the guys to cut the rest of the cake since girls always do the cutting. Oh and Ashley joined us too.

Daniel's turn. Erm he cut really carefully it into bite-size pieces as you can see.

Yeah! Us enjoying our very early breakfast.

The heart shaped piece i cut out! ^_^

Jo emo.

After the surprise, we watched Hancock and half of Dark Knight with junk food and apple juice accompanying us . I was so bored and started taking pictures of them to amuse myself.

Jo, the nutcracker expert. Why are you cracking nuts above me??

The 2 girls on my left: One was so engrossed watching Dark Knight and another was yawning awaaay.

It was about 4 something by then when all of us were dead bored of hearing batman's "heroic" voice. We decided to walk around in Daniel's neighbourhood garden. Talking bout morning exercise! There, sneaking out quietly.

Us snatching the lamppost from each other.

Johannan and Daniel on some modern springy see-saw.

It has been such a long time since we've been to the playground. The 1st time going to the playground together.(See those wet footprints on the cement? We girls went out barefooted but the guys wore slippers.)
Them on the way back all in smiles and NOT sleepy anymore!

So we came back and washed our black-feet. Jo took a picture of Daniel's sparkling clean toilet bowl. Gosh.

What's a sleepover without pillow fights ay? Plus the many big and fluffy pillows Dan has. We ended up burying Jo with all of them.
Are you still alive? Heh. Heh.

It was jo who threw all the pillows, freeing himself and went up first saying "I wanna sleep d la yioo...cannot tahan." And so we decided to sleep at about 5. It was amazing that no one slept during church service the next morning as we woke up at 8:30A.M.. Thanks to the speaker who once in a while asked us to stand up and greet others or asked us to say something to the person next to us. :-D
